Conflict can happen at any point with any person. While some people may be involved a heated verbal exchange, violence is relatively rare. However, there are some instances in which a person may feel that his or her life is in danger, forcing protective actions. Unfortunately, the exact events leading up to an altercation at a Minnesota pizzeria are unclear, but one man now faces criminal charges.
The incident happened during the early morning hours of a day in late December. The two people involved were reportedly at Toppers Pizza. Reports indicate that the two men engaged in a verbal argument inside the restaurant.
Both are said to have walked out of the restaurant. The man now facing criminal charges was pushed — presumably by the alleged victim; the 21-year-old then reportedly struck the 25-year-old male victim in the face. The latter reportedly suffered a small brain bleed and three facial fractures. The younger man reportedly ran from the scene but is now charged with third degree assault causing great bodily harm. He is set to appear in court again in February.
Regardless of the circumstances that led to criminal charges, many people in Minnesota do not fully understand their legal options and their potential outcomes. As such, they often choose the seek guidance from a professional who has both the training and experience to guide them throughout the criminal justice process. Such a professional can provide some degree of peace of mind as they make the decisions that will likely impact the rest of their lives.
